ADH Meetings &  Events is a Chicago based meeting management and event planning firm, partnering with in-house corporate and non-profit planners, assisting them with the planning of their programs. This allows the in-house planner to dedicate more time to the content of the program, the invitees, presenters, sponsors and internal clients, while we take care of all the associated logistics, such as venue/hotel searches, (on-line) registration, av needs, catering, decor, transportation, gifts, entertainment and more. The key players at ADH Events have a minimum of 20 years of experience with the balance of the staff a minimum of 10 years experience in the hospitality, entertainment, catering and meeting and event planning industries. Most of ADH Events staff has worked, lived or travelled on most continents around the globe, including North/Central/South America, Europe, Africa and the Far East. Elixir Lounge in Chicago - new venue in Lakeview

Elixir Lounge

Halsted Street has a new bar called the Elixir Lounge. Finally a Marty's style bar in the hood and seats maximum 50. Elixir Lounge will also be offering soon a Pastoral cheese and charcuterie selection to compliment your cocktails and wines. Thank you Greg O'Neill. Thanks to the sommelier from Pastoral, this place serves some delicious wine. I had Stadt Kems Kremstal Gruner, MF Chardonnay and Vina Falernia Pedro Iximenez, followed by a few cocktails with names such as Aviation, a lovely lavender colored gin drink and the Clover Club, which was a delightful pink frothy gin cocktail, each in their own specific glasses.

Last night was perfect at Elixir. I met David Chhay with Cognac Ferrand, Todd Appel aMixologist and has a blog called http://piranhabros.blogspot.com/ and Leanne Strickler with North Shore Distillery. Missing was Adam Seger/creator of HUM - sorry Adam - but we did talk about you. John and Justin were the friendliest bartenders ever. Will be back soon.
